Koflach Degre Mountaineering Boot

The Koflach Degre boot is best suited to general mountaineering; removable liners are insulated with open cell foam for warmth at moderate altitudes. The Koflach Degre has pliable polyurethane shells that make the Degre boot excellent for hiking on snow or rocks; soles are sufficient for short sections of vertical ice. Y-Technology(TM) outer shells boast a dual density polyurethane that is more stiff near the bottom for crampon security and softer over the instep for flex. Vario hinges allow the Degree natural forward and lateral foot flex making for easier approaches on rocky terrain or flat-footing techniques on steep snow. Weight 5 lbs. 4 oz. for size 9. Uses a softer shell and lighter liner than other Koflach boots. We designed the Degre boot as a cold weather hiker that outperforms the best leather boot alternatives.
