K2's Avalanch Probes are as light as anything you'll find on the market, yet still among the strongest and stiffest available. These probes will be the ones you will turn to when the worst imaginable thing happens; a friend gets trapped under the snow during an avalanche. At only 370 grams for the aluminum and 290 grams for the carbon version, you still get an extended length of 300cm with a packed size of only 42cm.
